Alle Ausgaben enthalten je 15 sehr leichte, aber dennoch gut klingende Stücke für das erste Zusammenspiel im Schwierigkeitsgrad 1. Die Stücke sind schon in kleinster Besetzung spielbar
ab 1 Flöte, 2 Klarinetten, 1 Eb-Alt-Saxophon, 2 Trompeten und Schlagzeug.
Beide Klarinettenstimmen bleiben unterhalb des Ubergangs und sind damit auch von Anfängern leicht zu spielen. Die Stimmen für F-Horn und Bb-Tenor-Saxophon sind im gut spielbaren Tonumfang gehalten und ad libitum zu besetzen. Bass-Klarinette, Bariton-Saxophon, Posaune/Bariton/Fagott, Tenorhorn und Tuba spielen die gleiche Stimme.
Diese lnstrumente vervollständigen den Klang der Stücke, sind aber für diese Ausgaben nicht unbedingt nötig
